I would like to see fitness leaders who are fitness experts give some interviews and write articles about how their faith has brought them to where they are now.
I like all the ideas you suggested for the theme of this blog. Perhaps seeing passages and short devotions on what it means to be “fit” spiritually, physically and emotionally would be nice too. I think seeing spiritual leaders step up and talk about health and fitness would be nice.
Personally, I would like anything inspirational! Inspirational stories, bible verses and so on. We need to be reminded that we are God’s children and He loves us no matter what we look like or how much we weigh. However, we need to also be reminded that a healthy body is an honor to God, who created us in His image.
Great stuff so far. Here is how I see it. I am not gifted at singing or other forms of worship. In fact, I could be the absolute worst! On the other hand, I have always honored and worshiped God by using my talents with sports and over the last 5 years transforming lives through fitness. God created us to lead productive, active lives. It is my prayer that others can worship God through a transformation in their bodies and lives.
I think this is really awesome. I like the testimonials and facts, and the inspirational stuff is amazing. I also like how you put your own personal experience in there and showed how that if you trust in God and pray and just be patient, then He will show you the way. I definetly think you are doing what you are meant to be doing and I am excited to read more. I hope we get a chance to see how this will bring some in to Christ and become Christians. You are doing great things. Keep it up.
Thanks Nick… I appreciate you and your comments. I am praying for you as always. Thanks for helping all of us!
